WHAT WE COLLECT

• • Profile information you provide: name, age, location, tribe/ethnicity, marital status, employment, religious practice details, and (optionally) health disclosures
• • Preferences for matching purposes
• • For sisters: walii contact information
• • Verification documents and, for sisters, an awareness video — used solely to verify your identity and authenticity
• • Interest and match activity within the platform
• • If you donate: your name (unless you choose anonymous) and email address, so we can follow up with a thank-you message

HOW WE USE IT

• • To calculate compatibility matches between users
• • To verify profiles before they go live, via admin review
• • To operate the walii contact reveal system as described in our Terms of Service
• • To respond to donations and platform feedback

VERIFICATION DOCUMENTS AND VIDEOS

Documents and awareness videos you upload are used only for admin verification. Once your submission has been reviewed (approved or rejected), the file itself is automatically deleted from our systems — we do not retain copies afterward.

WHO CAN SEE YOUR INFORMATION

• • Other users see only the profile information relevant to matching and browsing
• • Your walii's contact details are shared only per the conditions in our Terms of Service
• • Our admin team can view verification documents/videos (until deletion) and profile data, solely for verification purposes
• • We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties

WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

We use Supabase for our database, authentication, and file storage, and Vercel to host the platform. We do not currently use any analytics or advertising services.

ACCOUNT DELETION

If you delete your account, your profile, preferences, walii information, and all related data are permanently removed.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request a copy of your data by contacting us via our Contact page. We'll compile and send it to you within a reasonable time. You may also request corrections or request account deletion at any time via the same channel.

CHANGES

We may update this policy as the platform develops. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
